How we would put Alpha & Omega inside the answer

You asked four good questions after reading the audit: how this works in practice, how it differs from traditional SEO and PR, what we would prioritise for A&O, and how we measure it. This document answers all four, plus what it costs, so the call can be spent on decisions rather than definitions.

Deepanshi Goel, Founder & Creative Director Follows the May 2026 AI Visibility Audit 15 minute call
Starting point

Where the audit left us

A quick recap so the rest of this document has something to push against. These are the numbers we measured for alphaomegalifestyle.com in May 2026, and they are the baseline every recommendation below is aimed at moving.

0 / 4
AI platforms citing A&O
3.2
Domain Rating (Ahrefs)
5
Ranking keywords
~10
Monthly organic visits
77
Referring domains

The important nuance in those numbers

77 referring domains producing a Domain Rating of 3.2 tells us the link profile is wide but thin, and that almost none of it comes from sources the models actually retrieve when someone asks about made to order fashion in India. This is why the answer is not simply "get more links". It is to get the right corroboration in the places the models already read.

Question one
You asked
"How do you approach this in practice?"

A language model decides who to recommend using four inputs. We work on all four in parallel, because strengthening one without the others rarely moves a citation.

INPUT 01

Clarity

Can the model state, unambiguously, what Alpha & Omega is? Category, country, price band, what makes it different. Today the answer is no, and that is upstream of everything else.

INPUT 02

Corroboration

Do independent sources say the same thing about you? Models weight third party agreement far above self description. This is where earned media does the heavy lifting.

INPUT 03

Retrievability

Is your content shaped so a model can lift a clean, quotable answer out of it? Most Shopify storefronts are built to be browsed, not to be quoted.

INPUT 04

Consensus

Are the same facts repeated consistently across your site, your profiles, and the places that write about you? Contradictions make a model hedge, and hedging means it names someone else.

The monthly rhythm

Work runs on a repeating four step cycle. You always know what is being produced, and you shape what comes next.

STEP 01

Plan the slate

At the start of each month we confirm the exact deliverables for the cycle, drawn from the active roadmap phase.

STEP 02

Produce the work

The team executes against that slate through the month, with progress visible in a live dashboard rather than a monthly surprise.

STEP 03

Review together

Late in the month we walk you through what shipped, what the data did, and what we learned, on a structured call.

STEP 04

Feedback and iterate

Your input shapes next month's slate. The rhythm restarts sharper each cycle rather than running on autopilot.

Question two
You asked
"How do you distinguish the work from traditional SEO and PR?"

The honest answer is that we use SEO and PR as inputs. What changes is the target, the selection criteria, and the definition of success. Traditional SEO optimises for a position in a list of links. Traditional PR optimises for a placement in front of readers. We optimise for the sentence a model writes when the buyer never clicks anything at all.

Traditional SEO Traditional PR AI visibility, what we do
Goal Rank a page in the blue links Secure coverage in front of an audience Be named, accurately, inside the model's answer
Unit of success Keyword position, clicks Placement, reach, impressions Citation rate and share of voice across a fixed prompt set
How targets are chosen Search volume and difficulty Readership, prestige, journalist relationships Whether a model already retrieves that source for your category, tested before we pitch
What gets optimised Titles, internal links, page speed, backlinks The narrative and the pitch Entity data, extractable claims, structured facts, consistency across sources
Who it is written for A crawler and a human scanner An editor, then a reader A retrieval system that has to summarise you in two sentences
Where a good result appears Position 3 on Google A feature in a magazine "Alpha & Omega" appearing when someone asks ChatGPT for a made to order label in Delhi

The practical difference for you

A PR agency would be delighted to land you a feature in a high circulation magazine. We would only chase that feature if the magazine is one the models actually pull from for your category, and we test that before we spend your budget on it. In the audit we found the four platforms leaning on Good On You, LBB, Nilamind, So Delhi, Fibre2Fashion and the Conscious Fashion Collective. Those are not the most glamorous names on a PR wishlist. They are the ones currently writing the answer about your category.

Question three
You asked
"What would you prioritise for Alpha & Omega?"

In this order, and deliberately not in the order most agencies would propose. The slowest lever is authority, so we start with the two that move fastest and run authority underneath them from week one.

1
Weeks 1 to 4

Fix the identity problem before the authority problem

Zero citations across four platforms is usually a recognition failure before it is a credibility failure. We give the models something unambiguous to hold onto: structured brand and product data on the Shopify storefront, a canonical brand facts page, organisation and product schema, and consistent entity signals across your site, Google Business, Instagram, and the open knowledge sources the models ingest. This is the cheapest work in the plan and it unblocks everything after it.

2
Weeks 2 to 8

Own "made to order" as a category, in writing

eShakti sits at DR 31, well below House of Indya, and still gets cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity. It wins on sizing, fit and comparison content that answers the question a buyer actually asks. That is a content gap, not a budget gap, and it is the most winnable ground you have. We would build a pillar around made to order fashion in India with eight to ten supporting pieces: lead times, alterations, sizing and fit, handloom fabric guides, care, and honest comparison content. Written to be quoted, not just to be read.

3
Weeks 4 to 12

Earn placements chosen by retrievability, not by prestige

This is where your existing earned media ambition and our work meet. We target the specific listicles and editorial sources the four platforms already cite for your category, starting with Good On You, LBB, So Delhi, Nilamind, the Conscious Fashion Collective and Fibre2Fashion. Female founded, made in India, handloom and slow fashion is a genuinely strong angle for every one of them, and A&O currently qualifies for those roundups and is simply absent from them.

4
Ongoing from week 2

Make the founder a citable entity

Models reward named, attributable humans with a consistent public record. Your founder narrative, the Alpha Girl positioning and the made in India craft story are already differentiated. They are just not written down anywhere a model can retrieve them. Founder led commentary, artisan and collection deep dives, and quotable point of view pieces build a second entity that reinforces the first.

What we would not do first

We would not open with a large scale link building push. With 77 referring domains already in place and a Domain Rating of 3.2, adding volume without fixing clarity and retrievability tends to move the number without moving the citation. Authority still matters and it runs in the background from month one, but it is the slowest of the four levers and it should not be the one you pay for first.

Question four
You asked
"How do you measure improvements in AI visibility over time?"

With a fixed prompt set, re run on the same schedule, from your buyers' market. The audit you read is month zero of exactly this measurement, which is why the four queries in it were chosen carefully rather than casually.

What we track How it is measured Baseline today
Citation rate A fixed set of buyer intent prompts re run monthly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. We expand the audit's four prompts to roughly 30 to 40 covering your real buying journeys. 0 of 4 platforms
Share of voice On the same prompt set, how often A&O is named versus the five competitors we benchmarked. This is the number that tells you whether you are gaining ground or just standing still while the category moves. 0% against House of Indya, JOVI, eShakti, SeamsFriendly, CloudTailor
Accuracy and sentiment When a model does name you, what does it say? Correct price band, correct category, correct differentiator. A wrong mention is a problem, not a win. No mentions to assess
Retrieval footprint Which specific URLs, your own and third party, are being cited in answers about your category. This tells us where the next placement should go. 0 A&O sources cited
AI referral traffic Sessions in GA4 from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, tracked separately, with assisted conversions attached. Tracking configured in month one
Commercial signal Revenue attributable to AI referral, plus branded search volume as a proxy for buyers who heard about you in an answer and then searched for you directly. 5 ranking keywords, ~10 visits

Tested from India, every time

AI answers vary by location. We run the prompt set from India localised sessions because that is where your buyers are. We have seen agencies report on AI results tested from the wrong country and reach the opposite conclusion, so we hold this as a standing rule.

What good looks like, and when

Month one is infrastructure and a hardened baseline. First movement in citations typically shows at 45 to 60 days. Competitive parity on a meaningful slice of the prompt set usually lands at 90 to 120 days. You see the dashboard from week two, not just the monthly deck.

"Saigon Digital transformed how Ski.com shows up online. Beyond rebuilding our platform, they helped us rethink our entire search and AI visibility strategy. We saw a significant uplift in organic traffic, our content started appearing in AI-generated travel recommendations, and the quality of inbound leads improved dramatically. They understand where digital discovery is heading and how to turn visibility into real commercial results."

What this costs

One monthly figure covering strategy, production and measurement. We do not price this as a menu of separate line items, because the four inputs above only work together and pulling one out weakens the rest.

Engagement starts from
$2,000 USD per month

The entry engagement, sized for a focused prompt set and a steady production and placement cadence. Scope scales with the breadth of the prompt set, content volume and the number of earned placements we pursue each month, which is worth discussing on the call once we understand how ambitious you want the editorial push to be.

  • Entity and structured data foundation across your Shopify storefront and profiles
  • Monthly content slate written for retrieval, not just for readers
  • Earned placement targeting and outreach against models' cited sources
  • Monthly prompt set re run across all four AI platforms, tested from India
  • Live dashboard from week two, plus a structured monthly review call
  • Founder led narrative and point of view content
TERM

Rolling monthly

No annual lock in. We strongly recommend four to six months for results to compound, but the commercial commitment renews each month and 30 days written notice ends it at any point.

PAYMENT

Predictable cycle

Invoice issued in the third week of each month, payable by the start of the following month. Same amount, same date, no surprise charges. Third party media costs are quoted and approved separately.

ACCEPTANCE

Agreed slate

Deliverables are agreed at the start of each cycle and presented with supporting data in the monthly review. Adjustments fold into the next cycle's slate with no change order overhead.

EXIT

No penalties

End any month with 30 days written notice, no exit fees. Work delivered in a paid month is non refundable, and the rolling structure exists so you never commit beyond the month you are paying for.

Why a rolling retainer rather than a project fee

AI visibility compounds. Month one is infrastructure and baseline. Months two and three produce the first measurable lifts. Months four to six are where commercial momentum shows up in referral traffic and revenue. We would rather you renew because the numbers are moving than because a contract says you have to.

Next step

Fifteen minutes, and a specific agenda

You have the how, the what and the how much. The call is better spent on the parts that need your input rather than on repeating any of the above.

  • The live prompts where competitors are named and A&O is not, run in front of you
  • How ambitious the earned media push should be, which is what sets the investment level
  • Which prompts matter most commercially to you, so the tracked set reflects your real buyers
  • What is realistic in the first 90 days, stated plainly
  • Start date and the first month's slate
